Huge quantity of fireworks seized

The Interior Ministry Relations and Security Information Department said the special security sector in cooperation with the customs department busted 14 containers loaded with fireworks yesterday on arrival at Shuwaikh Port. Tips were received about trucks loaded with fireworks heading to Kuwait, so the trucks were placed under surveillance. Each container is estimated to have a load worth KD 500,000.
