"Face the difficulties in life, then only we will learn the value," he said. Life is full of difficulties, face them, fight against the difficulties to achieve your goals in life. "I am not someone unique. I have learnt and grown with the rules that my elders have showed or thought me. Life is what we nurture. We reap what we sow. If we do not nurture our life properly we cannot expect fruits out of it. I have gone through a lot of difficulties and now my life has become smooth" Kailash Kher said. "We value our life only when we face difficulties and overcome it. Through this we build our self-confidence. This is not only for artists but for any individuals" adds Kailash Kher. His perseverance has payed off.

There was a time when many people around me tried to demotivate me. I did not care for them. With blessings of thousands of people, Kailash Kher has achieved his goal or ambition. "Before it was not my time and now I don’t have time" says Kailash Kher with a smile.

Kailash Kher was born in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He started singing since his younger years. He is a self-made person. Learnt music without any professional training. He has a positive attitude towards life.

His career started like a rocket. In his 12 years of music career he has sung more than 15,000 songs in more than 25 languages and has become the youngest Padma Sri award winner. There is no language for music, he said. "I don’t sing languages, I sing feelings", he said. If you are singing with the feelings, you dont care about the language. It is the feeling and the love. Nobody teaches you how to love, right? he asked.

His message to the youngsters is to become a good human being. "You may become a doctor or engineer and succeed in life, but you will always leave behind something. By the time you realize that, it will be too late", he said. Today people are so busy trying to achieve bigger heights in life. They are busy in buying a farm house, getting their children education in foreign countries etc and at the end of the day, they forget to live. By the time they realize this hard fact, they would have become old, Kailash Kher said while talking about today's youngsters.

"You are my inspiration", he said. My audience and my fans are my inspirations. The love, smile and happiness that you share, inspires me, he added. I don’t see myself as a celebrity. It is the people who see me as celebrity. We are all mysterious people. I am doing edutainment. Singing is an entertainment, which also helps to relieve your tension and give you some relaxation, he said. "It is a medicine for many", he concluded.
