LuLu Hypermarket launches Food Expo 2018

LuLu Hypermarket, the leading regional retailer, launched its eagerly awaited annual 'Food Expo’ on 21 March at its Al Rai outlet. Indian Celebrity Chef Vicky Ratnani inaugurated the function in the presence of top management at Lulu Kuwait, a large gathering of customers, well-wishers and media personnel.

The 11-day promotion period, which will end on 31 March, is being held across all LuLu hypermarkets in the country and features a variety of competitions and fun activities for shoppers, as well as unique food displays.

Several food-related competition, including Cookery Contests, Junior Chef Contests, Wow The Master Chef Contests, Taste & Win Contests, Make And Eat Competition, Kitchen Queen Contests and Cook Without Fire Competition, as well as live-cooking demonstrations, are being held as part of the festival at the hypermarket’s outlets since 20 March. The competitions allow budding and seasoned chefs to try their hand at creating appetizing dishes. The Chit Chat with Master Chef allows fans to meet with Indian celebrity chef Ratnani to discuss his exciting career and ask questions about his cooking styles.

Among the food festival highlights that will be on display from 21 to 27 March are record-breaking food presentations, including a giant muffin, the longest kebab sandwich, the longest shabiya, the longest cake, the biggest Orange Cake, the longest shawarma, a pizza mountain and the longest basboosa.
