MoH revenue increased 13 times after increasing expats charges

According to local media reports, the revenues generated from hospitals of Ministry of Health during the period from October 2017 to February 2018 were about KD 20.7 million. This increase was in comparison to about KD 300,000 which the ministry used to collect on monthly basis prior to the implementation of the new decision concerning the charges of medical services.

The revenues collected from expatriates through health insurance during the same period were KD 45 million. Daily also reported that the total revenues collected from expatriates in the last five months exceed KD 65 million.
