“The Gladdest Moment in Human Life, Me Thinks, Is a Departure into Unknown Land” -Sir Richard Burton

A trip to Unites States of America was arranged by FAIPS-DPS consisting of 31 students and 2 teachers.
As the flight landed at the John F. Kennedy Airport, my feet was filled with full of enthusiasm. I was ready to experience the adventures in a place, I have never been to or the unknown land. I was ready to meet different cultured people, feel vivid styles of art and a feel what it feels to be an American. Since we landed at the late evening, we had our dinner and went to our rooms and had a very peaceful sleep.

The 1st day of our trip begun with exploring New York. I was wonderstruck on what I saw, Big and modern city. The Times Square was brimming with opportunities-for Business and had dazzling arrays of shops. The one full day we explored New York on foot, watched the majestic Statue of Liberty from the Ferry, viewed the entire New York from the top of the Empire state building, walked on the Brooklyn Bridge and ended our days trip after visiting the monument that was built on the remembrance of the death of the innocent souls, The Twin Towers.

The 2nd day started with a pleasant walk in The Central Park followed by shopping. Then after lunch, we started out exotic road trip to the Niagara Falls, Buffalo. A journey is best measured in Friends, rather than miles. We had an exciting bus trip with our friends for half the day. We got the chance to fall in love with the beauty of the nature garnished with snowfall. We finally reached Buffalo by night and had a peaceful sleep.

The next day (3rd) we set off to the Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls consists of two waterfalls on the Niagara River, which marks the border between New York and Canada: the American Falls, located on the American side of the border, and the Canadian or Horseshoe Falls located on the Canadian side. To the right of the American Falls is a smaller waterfall that has been separated from the American Falls by natural forces, which is usually called Bridal Veil Falls. The falls was like a overflowing bowl of silky silver into a never ending pit covered with mystic fog. We had a nice time for half a day and then set off to Orlando, Florida by Flight.

The next 4th, 5th, and 6thday was the most awaiting trip in the Kennedy Space Centre a.k.a NASA. We discovered the inner structure of NASA and were nourished with the history of NASA. To understand the life of astronaut in space and space shuttle, we were given opportunity to use a whole lot of stimulators- the spinning axial, zero gravity experience, experience while take off of a shuttle, etc. We stayed in holiday Inn. and had a nice time in the pool with our friends. We also went to the largest supermarket, The Walmart and did our shopping. We enjoyed a whole lot equisetic; lavish multicultural meals which made our tongue surrender to the taste. We also visited the space shuttle launch centre and the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB). We heard a mesmerizing speech from an astronaut who have been to the space, John McBride. We were also given permission to have a group photo with him. Moreover, I was so lucky that I was given the chance to stand next to him in the photo.

The 7th day, we went to Sea World. It was one of the best Theme parks that I have ever encountered. The ride in the majestic roller coasters- Mako, Manta and Kraken was unbeatable. The Grand Killer Whale show or the Orca show was thrilling and reflects the love and care shown by the trainers to the whales. The Dolphin show shows how much the Dolphins like the theatrical acting and the faith they have on their trainers. In both these shows, we were given nice bath by both the Orcas and the Dolphins.

The 8th day, we visited the world famous Magic Kingdom. It was divided into 6 different themes with rides corresponding to their themes. We were fully drenched in the essence of Walt Disney’s imaginations and creations and felt the beautiful magic. The Disney Castle was so beautiful that I couldn’t take the eyes from it. The 9th day, we visited the Universal’s Island of Adventure. The theme park was divided into 8 islands- Port of Entry, Marvel Super Hero Island, Toon Lagoon, Skull Island, Jurassic Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter(Hogsmeade), The Lost Continent and Seuss Landing. We had a thrilling experience in the boosting roller coaster of Hulk Smasher. Hogsmeade was amazing which gave the contrasting Experience of the world of Harry Potter. The Gigantic 4D ride in Harry Potter’s Broomstick was the most amazing of all. The Hogwarts school replica was the most majestic building that I have ever seen.

The 10th day was a bit gloomy as it was time for our trip to come to an end. Before we went to the airport, we went shopping to a place where all the leading brands sold their commodities in one place. After we were done with our shopping, we made our way to the airport in a private bus. After travelling 18 hours in a hollow tube, we finally reached Kuwait. This was the best trip of my life and I wish you got a wide view on the experience in USA.
