Thaiman Kalai Elaikiya Peravai, Kuwait Organised its Thanksgiving Event!

Thaiman Kalai Elaikiya Pervai, a social - cultural organisation registered with Indian Embassy in Kuwait, has organised and celebrated it thanks giving event on 26th January 2018 at Kohinoor Hall Fahaheel Kuwait, to thank and recognize the good hearted people, who have contributed and participated in its grandiose 17th Annual event –Thaiman Kalai Elaikiya’s Literary & Music festival organised on 31 December 2017 and making it a memorable and impressive success.





The function was attended by hundreds of Tamil Literary & Traditional Music lovers in Kuwait. The event commenced with the recitation of the Tamizh Thai Vazthu song and Mr. S. Magizhan, Regional Secretary of TKEP was the master of ceremonies and he welcomed all the members and the invitees to the thanks giving event of TKEP. The Organisation Secretary of TKEP Mr. A. Arivuazhgan chaired the event, the President of TKEP Mr. GM. Anbarasan, Mr. Velavan, Tamizh School, Abbasiya, and special invitee Engr. Inbatamizh Ilangovan were invited on to the dais.



The leaders of various Tamizh organizations in Kuwait were invited to share their experience of the Literary and Music festival organised by TKEP. The leaders expressed their happiness and praised the team for conducting the event with army discipline. Each leader conveyed their best wishes to the team headed by Mr. GM. Anbarasan for organizing a scintillating traditional music & literary event. The main sponsors of the event Mr. Abubacker Siddiqui Managing Partner of M/s. Supreme Travels & Cargo and Mr. Muruganatham, Founder Trustee of Makali Educational Trust were invited to release the CD of the musical & literary event.





A thought provoking poem was recited by Mr. Sangatamizhvel, the literary and art TKEP and fully charged traditional song was sung by Mr. Manickam of Natham Naam Pattu organisation. The children who performed a dance drama from Nandhavanam Family organisation were honored by presenting them with merit certificates. The South Indian dance “Karagattam” performed by the little dancer Ms. Dhanushree Balu Palanisamy, who received more than 1.5 lakhs viewers’ likes on FB and was very much appreciated by all and Ms. Hency Robert who staged the “Bharathanataym” dance, were presented with mementos and certificates of merit. The ladies troupe who have performed the “Kollattam” were praised for their commitment and efforts to taken organize among themselves for performing the traditional dance, were also presented with merit certificates.





The leaders of the Kuwait Tamizh Organisations Dr. Kumar, Mr. Natarajan, Mr. Robert, Mr. Rajasekar, Engr. Somasundaram, Mr. Khalifullah, Mr. Vasu Ramanathan, Dr. Shahinshah, Mr. Gangai Gopal, Mr. Arif Maricar, welldone Mr. Mohd. Ghouse, Mr. Gopu Kumar, Mr. Hassam Mohammed, Engr. Muruganathan, Mr. Rajah Mohammed, Mr. Santha kumar, and other important leaders graced the occasion. The President Mr. GM. Anbarasan proposed the vote of thanks. A sumptuous lunch was served to the invitees and members on the traditional banana leaf.
