TMCA’s celebrated its 23rd Anniversary “Sirupaanmiyinar Vaazhviyal Maanaadu”

Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA), Kuwait conducted a mega event titled “SirupaanmiyinarVaazhviyalMaanaadu” (Social Welfare Conference) in view of its 23rd Anniversary of TMCA, on Friday, the 19th January, 2018 at Dasma Teachers Society.
A large number of our community members flooded the hall exceeding its capacity, watched the program sitting outside the hall. Special guests for the program are: Dr. Sultan Ahamed Ismail (Soil Biologist and Ecologist) and Chairman, Eco-Science Research Foundation, Chennai and former HOD, Department of Zoology, New College, Chennai and Advocate Arulmozhi, leading Chennai High Court Lawyer and social activist, well-known in social arena.
Our Media Secretary, Vittukatti Bro. Mastan initiated and mastered the program. Event started with a recitation of noble verses from holy Quran by Master Abdul Basil Hidayathullah, son of Bro. Hidayathullah, Secretary-General, FIMA, followed by welcome by Bro. Mubarak Ali, then former Secretary-General. Presidential address delivered by Bro. Shajahan, then President. Founding President, Delhi Basha alias Abdul Kader, Main sponsor or the event ‘Lucky’ Bro. Sulaiman Batcha, Incoming TMCA President, Bro. Karaikkal S.M. Arif Maricar and Chairman of TVS Hyder Group, Dr. S.M. Hythaar Ali presided the event. Bro. Avoor Basheer Ahamed, summarised activities of TMCA.
Dr.Sultan Ahmad Ismail, who is introduced to audience by Bro. Abdul Kadir,delivered his maiden speech-cum-audio visual presentation on soil fertility in line with their slogan ,"Earthworm is the pulse of the soil, healthier the pulse healthier the soil”. Full attention to such lecture programs are very rare,credit to academic excellence,his lecture lasted exceeding an hour with enthusiasm and full involvement of the audience.
TMCA released specially prepared Souvenir co-inciding its anniversary, copies are delivered and received by amazing personalities. It honored all its advertisers with a memento and shawl, honored all Jamaath officials presenting Souvenir and shawl, honored outstanding personalities of public life, with Life Time Achievement Award to Delhi Basha alias Abdul Kader, our founding President of TMCA, Bro. Izzedine, social worker in Chennai, Dr. Ramamurthy, people friendly physician based at Mayiladuthurai for their unparalleled services to the common public. Our souvenir designer, young and energetic Kudavasal‘Suji’ alias Bro. Sujavudeen honoured, appreciating his extra-ordinary designing and presentation of Souvenir.

Special attendees from Pondicherry,Mr. D.Ganesan,Secretary-General of Agila India SamugaNalaAmaippu and Mr. Selvakumar, Joint Secretary, who have visited Kuwait to participate in our mega eventare honored with a Memento and shawl.
A long wait of the audience came to an end, as well-known advocate and social activist, Madam Arulmozhi, introduced to the audience by Dr.Ali,delivered her amazing speech on the title ‘Sirupaanmiyinar Vaazhviyal Maanadu’ citing the hardships faced by minorities community in India and how to better protect ourselves from evil doers, pointing constitutional rights granted while preserving unity and harmony, peaceful co-existence, amidst a huge applause from the audience.
The event well ended at about 10.30 pm with vote of thanks with invocation by Bro.Asan Mohamed. Dinner and Souvenir offered to the audience at the end.
