Indian embassy hosted a diplomatic reception for Republic Day

Indian embassy hosted a diplomatic reception on the occasion of India’s 69th republic day at the Palms Hotel, Kuwait. Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah was the chief guest for the ceremonial reception, which was attended by large number of diplomats and officials.

To mark the celebration, Indian Ambassador to Kuwait HE K Jeeva Sagar and Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah cut the cake along with the Dean of Diplomatic Corps in Kuwait and the Ambassador of Senegal Abdulahad Mbaki. Ambassadors of various countries, Kuwaiti officials, diplomats and various personalities’ attended the reception.

Ambassador Sri K Jeeva Sagar welcomed the audiences. He reminded the strong and deep rooted relation between the two countries. Ambassador in his remarks thanked Kuwait for its support given to the large number of Indian community living here.

The traditional live Indian music and cultural performance added attractions to the event.

Embassy will be having a flag hoisting ceremony on Friday, 26th January 2018 at the Indian Embassy premise at 9:00 am. All Indians are requested to attend the ceremony.
