Thursday, January 25, 2018

To enhance the confidence and speaking skills of the students, Lower Primary Wing, Grade II organized an English Story Telling Competition for the students on 15th January 2018 in our school auditorium. The ability to express someone else’s words in our own way will enable a child to create his/her own unique identity. Many students participated from all sections in the competition. The children used various techniques of telling a story and showcased their creativity.

The students narrated the moral based stories. Each story concluded with a moral that highlights different values of life. Enthusiasm and passion of the students were also witnessed by the teachers and judges. The audience seemed fully engrossed with the flow of the competition. Winners were appreciated by the Vice-Principal and the Supervisor.

Since the occasion was Pongal, the harvest festival of Tamil Nadu, students presented an excellent dance performance depicting thanksgiving to the sun, soil, water and oxen. We extend our sincere gratitude to our Principal Dr. Shantha Maria James for the continuous motivation and support.
