Mr. Sampath Reddy Golamari Honored With ASSE Kuwait Chapter Safety Professional of the Year (SPY) Award 2017

Mr. Golamari Sampath Reddy, Professional Member of our chapter was honored with “ASSE Kuwait Chapter’s Safety Professional of the Year (SPY) Award 2017” during 9th International Health Safety Security Environment Professional Development Conference & Exhibition , 28th – 29th November 2017, Millennium Hotel Convention Center, Kuwait.
This annual award was instituted by ASSE Kuwait Chapter in 2011 in line with ASSE USA guidelines to recognize the outstanding contributions in advancing the health, safety and environmental profession through exemplary volunteer service to the Chapter, to the society and at professional life. Mr. Reddy has been selected for this award based on the chapter SPY Award guidelines.
Mr. Reddy has become ASSE Professional member in 2006 from Kuwait Chapter and he has been providing volunteer services to Kuwait Chapter since he joined. He is presently serving as advisory committee member of the Kuwait Chapter.
Mr. Sampath Reddy Golamari, is a Post graduate in Mechanical Engineering and working in Oil and Gas upstream sector with 26 years of rich experience including 21 years in HSE. He worked in several companies and presently working for Kuwait Oil Company as a SAFETY Specialist at HSE D&T Team under Drilling & Technology Directorate. He has many major professional skills in Managing HSE in Upstream Oil & Gas with Drilling Operations, Monitoring and Implementation of HSEMS, development of HSE MS Procedures related to Drilling Operations, Development and Implementation of various safety Programs etc..
Mr. Reddy has provided an volunteer services as Deputy Director for the 9th International HSSE Professional Development Conference & Exhibition, GCC HSE Excellence Award Porgrams. He volunteered and held various elected positions. He served the chapter in past as Chapter President, Vice- President, Secretary, Treasurer, Committee Head, etc.,
Mr. Fadhel Al Ali, Chairman ASSE Kuwait Chapter along with Executive Committee members presented this prestigious SPY Award to Mr. G Sampath Reddy and appreciated his diligent efforts and contribution to the Kuwait chapter and HSE Profession.
Mr. Reddy in his message thanked the ASSE Kuwait Chapter Advisory & Executive Committees for the honor, besides thanking the Management of Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait where he is employed, for providing support in delivering various initiatives by showing strong commitment towards HSE. He dedicated this award to all those HSE professionals who worked with him in his profession and in the chapter over the years for the cause of protecting people, property and the environment. He stated that this award is certainly a great encouragement for him and it is a motivation for all other HSE professionals to serve the chapter and society.
