Bharatheeya Sangeetha Sabha (BASS) Organized Mega Indian Classical Music Night at Cambridge School Auditorium, Mangaf. That was a profusely fledged Indian Traditional Carnatic classical program with illustrious performance of great music legend, Playback Singer Vidushi Dr. S. Sowmya along with great instrument artists (PAKKAMELAM) award-winning and pioneering violinist Shri. Embar S. Kannan & Renowned Mridangam Artiste Shri. Neyveli R. Narayanan, also accompanied Shri. Arun Narayanan on Gadam and Shri. Harilal on Ganjira.

The inaugural ceremony begun with Indian Traditional Percussion (Pancharimelam) by Vadhyakalashethram team and greeted the Special guests, following by the National Anthem of Kuwait and India.

Inaugurated the function by lighting the traditional lamp by our chief guests Shri. Yashwant Chatpalliwar- Indian Embassy Representative to Kuwait, his excellency Shri. Kaandeepan Balasubramaniyam- srilankan ambassador to Kuwait, Mr. Ayoob Kacheri, Mr. Francis Jacob, Mr. Sudhi Sugumaran, Mr. Rasheed Khan, Ms. Rochelle Dsouza and BASS Office Bearers Shri. Sindhu Ramesh, Mr. Anil Kumar and Mr. Jayakumar

Bass President U.Sunil Kumar chaired the meeting and in his Presidential address he briefed about BASS and the program as a whole. General Secretary Anil Kumar welcomed the audience.

Shri. Yashwant Chatpalliwar, and Shri. Kaandeepan Balasubramaniyam in their addressing appreciated and greeted the BASS members for its inexorable services in terms of Indian Traditional Classical Music and promoting the rich Indian cultural heritages in Kuwait.

Our Celebrity Guest Dr. Sowmya released the Mega Indian Classical Music Night 2017 Souvenir by collecting a copy from Bass Souvenir Conveners Mr. Balakrishnan & Mr. Sadiq Salim and handed over to the main sponsors and dignitaries who were invited to the dais.

The three Hours concert was distinctive with an occasional treat for music lovers in Kuwait, Legendary Singer Vidushi Dr. S. Sowmya along with great instrument artists (PAKKAMELAM) award-winning and pioneering violinist Shri. Embar S. Kannan & Renowned Mridangam Artiste Shri. Neyveli R. Narayanan, also accompanied Shri. Arun Narayanan on Gadam and Shri. Harilal on Ganjira were performed incredibly, the Cambridge auditorium was jam-packed with lovely audience.

The event was precisely coordinated by the Program Committee Mr. Ajith Kumar, Mr. Srikanth, Mr.Gopi, Mr. Jayakumar Manivanan, Mr. Rajagopal. Mr. Pramod, Mr. Salil Varma, Mr. Raju, Mr. Anil, Mr. Prasanth, Mr. Rajesh, Mr. Vaithyanathan, Mr. Viju Vareed, Mr. Devadas, Mr. Baburaj, Mr. Elangovan, Mrs. Keerthi Sumesh, Mrs. Srijitha, Mr. Sajeeb Kumar, Mr. Sooraj, Mr. Jayaseelan, Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Sruthi.

The show was well hosted by Mr. Rajesh, All the Committee members with their hard work and unity poured their heart into making this show a grand success. The event was concluded by Vote of Thanks by Mr. Mahesh Iyer.
