ASSE to organise largest gathering of Safety Engineers in Kuwait

American Society of Safety Engineers Kuwait Chapter (ASSE-KC) will be conducting the 9th edition of their prestigious International Professional Development Conference (PDC) in Kuwait from 28th – 29th November 2017 at Millennium Hotel Convention Centre, Salmiya.

This conference is a prestigious event for ASSE and will defenitly benefit all our members and non members in both professional as well as on social levels, said Mr. Mohammad Riaz Shareef, the Conference Director. Speaking to IndiansinKuwait.com, Mr Riaz Shareef said that more than 90 speakers from all over the world are coing to the conference and will update the attendees with latest updates in teh theme Cultural Transformation Through HSSE Innovations.

Under the Patronage of Minister of Oil, Minister of Energy & Water. His Excellency Mr. Issam Abdulmohsen Almarzooq, high level officials from Ministry and various oil companies will attend teh two day conference. It also brings together practitioners across the globe representing a wide range of industries, organization and career levels to participate in the program of workshops, presentations and discussions concerning the occupational Health, Safety, Environment and Loss Prevention. Besides conference, The Exhibition will feature demonstration of some of the largest and best known suppliers of Health, Safety, Security and Environmental products and services, Mr Riaz Shareef said.

Founded in the year 2000, ASSE Kuwait Chapter has today a premier voluntary, non-profit making Health, Safety and Environment organization that strives to spread the message of HSE to the community and to provide professional guidance, training, consultancy and resources to the industrial and social sectors in the GCC Region. "With over 900 members, Kuwait Chapter is the biggest chapter of ASSE outside the United State," Mr Riaz Shareef said. Great effort is being spent to provide programs that are diverse, interactive, forward-thinking, people-focused, change-orientated, and of the highest quality. "We are expecting well over 500 delegates to participate in the PDC 2017", Mr Shareef concluded.
