Idukki Association Kuwait Conducted Family Picnic at Abdaly Farms on 10th November 2017

Idukki Association Kuwait conducted family picnic on 10th November in a beautiful farm house at Abdaly. The Picnic was named ‘Kattan Kappi & Kappa Biriyani”. IAK’s President Mr. Biju P Anto and Ex. Presidents Mr. Sunny Manarakattu, Mr. Jaison Jacob Kaliayanil, Mr. Babu Parayani and the advisory board chairman Mr. Jiji Mathew are jointly inaugurated the picnic by kicking off a football at the picnic ground. Various fun filled activities for all age groups added flavors to this daylong Picnic. It was a day of fun and romp, a day to socialize and interact.

A large number of members with their families took part in the picnic. People enjoyed their time by participating in various games, swimming and touring to different farms in Abdaly.IAK is always stay at the forefront of helping the needy ones and are going to complete a housing project in Idukki, thru its Karuniya Nidhi, which involving an investment of more than half Million Rupees, President declared it during the picnic inaugural function.

Gigapixel Panorama photo session was one of the highlights of the picnic, IAK Media convener and famous DOP Mr. Sijo M Abraham arranged this wonderful photo with the background of five big buses, more than 30 SUV’s and the greenery farms. That was a fantastic experience for the members and happened first time in association’s history! IAK General Secretary Mr. Mathew Areepparampil, Picnic’s General Convener Mr. Joby Joseph and the other committee members coordinated the picnic and various programs associated with it. After a very nourishing breakfast, programs continued with excitement.

Another attraction of the day was the tour arranged to different farms, it covered Sunflower, Strawberry, Flowers and Sugarcane farms. After the farms tour the crowd gathered to have a fabulous lunch arranged under the supervision of food committee convener Mr. Sojan Mathew & team.

This delightful day with a pleasant weather concluded by the prize distribution for all the winners and served the tempting Kattan Kappi & Kappa Biriyani (A traditional meal of Kerala-a blend of Tapioca & Fresh beef with black coffee). The prize distribution was done by the executive and advisory Board members.

General Secretary Mr. Mathew Areepparampil welcomed the gathering and Treasurer Mr. Jomon Jacob expressed the vote of thanks to all committee members for their selfless work in making the picnic a grand success, and all the members for coming & sharing their valuable time and making the picnic a memorable one. He also thanked the Sponsors- KITCO Kuwait & Mr. Sunny Manarakttu for sponsoring food products for the picnic.
