The courageous pursuers of their likings from their innocent hearts - children, saw their unique day in the commemoration of Children’s Day at SIS on 14th November, 2017. “Gone are the days” tellers of childhood innocence – the teachers, performed the morning assembly with such gaiety. It was an immense pleasure for the teachers to reminisce the good old days of their age of purity.

The day let the students to sit back and amuse with utmost fun and pleasure in watching their teachers perform for them on stage. The chatters and clatters of the whole hall filled the mood of the children to set them on fire and to outburst their happiness in all amazing ways possible.

The program had a fantabulous skit from Arabic department, group dances of teachers, a clown dance which included the ultimate merriment version of on-screen dance and Midget dance with a difference to vent all the teachers’ talents as they transformed themselves in the form of dwarves as they performed a sunshine dance.

The grand launch of SIS online magazine “SPARSH” took its release with an aura of creativity and fineness. The magazine was received by the school’s Administrative Manager, Ms. Shyma Zaki from the respected Prinicpal, Mr. Mahesh Iyer in a hard copy, to mark the occasion.

The solo singings of Hindi and French languages by the teachers, Vice-Principal and Principal made the day to be nostalgic about the whole time. The day added a distinct feature of honoring the motherland, India with the spirit of learning and singing the National Anthem in the form of gesture, the way ‘physically challenged’ sing.

The students took the challenge of being enriched as they too sang the anthem as a symbolic gesture. The day ended with the sweet ending of distributing toffees to the never ending happiness of children.
