Kisr Malayali Kudumbam, celebrated 5thAnniversary on 3rd Nov. 2017 at the”Kerala ArtCircle” Auditorium, Abbasiya, Kuwait.

The program commenced with National Anthem and prayer. Mrs Reshmi Rajeev welcomed the crowd. A welcome Classical dance performed by Ms.Sejal Reddy and cinematic dance by Chaaya Nair. The General Convener, Mr. Siby Varghese rendered the presidential address which was followed by the inaugural lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, Kalashree Babu Chakola.

The patron’s message was delivered by the Patron, Mr. Laloo Thomas and Mr.Abhaham Kurien gave the felicitation. Mrs. Sheeba Jasmine Albert (Convener) presented the activities of KMK till date along with a visual display.

Yet another specialty of the program was the “Adarapoorvam” section by Mr. Anish C. Jacob (Convener) where the staff of KISR were honored for their excellence in the NEBOSH training course held by KISR. Master Akhil Sajeev, son of Mrs. Divya Sajeev was also honored for being selected in the Kuwait Cricket team and qualifying the semifinals for the Asia Cup. One of the senior members Eng. Varkey Monsey Kuruvila was offered a memento as a token of love as he was leaving to India for a retired life.

Ms. Vijaya Nair spoke on stress management connected to KISR work environment and mind calming techniques were beautifully displayed through audio clip of Heartfulness Meditation (Sahaj Marg Kuwait an Indian Embassy registered and a worldwide organization existing in 130 countries with MEA headquarters in Dubai) meditation techniques by Dr.Niranjan Kumar and he explained how meditation took part of research in current day of life.

The main attraction of the event was Cultural programs presented by KMK staff kids Couple dance by Mrs. Saritha and Mr. Sarath grabbed the audience attraction.
Malayalee’s @ KISR” skit was performed by KISR staff from different areas was one-of-its- kind which was enacted with series of Spot lights, background narration and props thus bringing the memories of senior staff who left country for good have brought situation live to the audience which grabbed special attraction among the gathering. The story was written and directed by Ms. Sheeba Jasmine Albert a talented KISR employee as well as KISR MALAYALI KUDUMBAM Convener).
Dr. Anju Sudheer (KMK Member) rendered the Vote of thanks.

Enthusiasm in the audience was on the high and continued until the end. It was heartening to see the audience, were so much involved with the musical event performed by KISR Staff and children as they stuck to their seats till the end. The event was well coordinated and hosted in style by Mrs. Sheena Jacob.
