Limit the extravagant use of marginal labors, says KU Professor

The number of domestic workers in Kuwait including servants and drivers is expected to reach one million in the near future, said the Professor of Administration and Finance at Kuwait University Dr Yousef Al-Mutairi. He said that currently this reached reached 700,000, which is approximately one-third of the population of Kuwait.

He stressed the importance of imposing strict adjustments for bringing expatriates, taking into consideration the technical and scientific rules.

Dr Al-Mutairi affirmed that Kuwait is still in need of expatriates especially for some highly technical jobs for which sufficient number of qualified citizens are unavailable. He recommended limiting the extravagant use of marginal labors.
