My Spectacular trip to the US

Have you ever had a dream and wanted to fulfill it ? Well, I had a dream and I fulfilled it this summer. It was a dream that had been there for my whole life – travelling to the United States of America.
We started our journey from Virginia , Washington D.C , where I saw the Luray Caverns , that is situated on the countryside . In the downtown area , I saw the magnificent White House , Capitol Building , The Natural History Musuem and the Air and Space Museum . We stayed at the Fairfax Hotel .Next day , we headed for New York .
New York , is an amazing place where the tall towers and buildings almost seem like they are leaning towards us . We woke up to a bright, fresh morning the next day .
That day we went to see the Statue Of Liberty and the Battery Park. Then , we went to the Times Square . I was very excited as our hotel , The Marriot Marquis , was also located at Times Square ! The view from our room’s window was just fantabulous . Right in front of our hotel was the Wonka’s Chocolate Factory . During the night , New York City shimmered with lights .
Next day , we travelled by air to Orlando , Florida , a very tropical climated place . We stayed at the Rosen Inn and next day, we went to the Kennedy Space Center , commonly known as NASA . It was the most amazing experience throughout my whole trip as it was very informative and I had lots of fun . We spent 3 days at Orlando and believe me , it was worth .the next day , went to the Disney World , “Where Dreams Come True” . The most fantastic experience at the Disney World was the flight on an Ikran at the Pandora , world of Avatar . We went for a ride on the back of an Ikran /Banshee in virtual reality and it was incredible ! After that , the next day went to the Sea World and had loads of fun as there were many amusing rides , shows , etc… The next day , we had to bid Orlando goodbye for our next destination , Buffalo . The Niagara Falls at Buffalo is indeed a wonder . I saw it during the ‘ Maid of the Mist ‘ ride and when I saw the magnificent sparkling water falls , I was mesmerized . It was misty and really cold and all of the people who were on the upper deck of the boat {including me and my family }got wet , though we were given blue coats so that we don’t drench . The night illuminations at the Niagara Falls was a stunning beauty ! Well , we had to visit more places , so , the following day we headed off to Chicago . Our relatives were staying at Illinois , Chicago , so you can expect , it was an awesome time I had there . I went bowling with my cousins and we also watched a movie after that . Our next destination was Seattle , where I had other relatives staying too . There , we went for a cruise around the city and then we went to the Space Needle . I think that the Space Needle was a great experience for me as the view from above was just mind- blowing . Well , next we went to San Francisco , California . We had decided to spend a day in San Francisco , another day at Las Vegas and the last two days at Los Angeles. San Francisco was a beautiful , splendid city and thickly populated too . There , we saw one of the 7 Wonders of the modern World , the Golden Gate Bridge . We also saw the Alcatraz Island , the island or I should say , Jail for prisoners .
The following day , we headed off for Las Vegas , the home of the Grand Canyon . We stayed at the hotel , “Bellagio” . It was a majestic building which had its own fountains which sprang up according to the music , just like the one in Dubai . The Grand Canyon was indeed a very beautiful but windy place .We went for the Skywalk too and it was a very breath taking curve . The next day , we went to Los Angeles , the home to Hollywood stars and our last destination. There we saw first and foremost the spectacular Universal Studios . We saw an incredible show that featured the secret of special effects used by the directors. We also saw the legendary Hogwarts Castle , Hogsmeade , Shrek’s Adventures and many more . It was all just unbelievable as I was a great Harry Potter fan and there , I was right in front of the castle ! We all had lots of amusement and after that we headed back to our hotel , Sheraton Universal . That day , we also had to go to our next hotel , the Westin Bonaventure and it was also quite a comfortable and cosy room . Next , we went for the Hollywood Star Tour , where we got a chance to tour the houses or the place where Hollywood stars and directors and famous people lived . I was very excited as we saw the mansions of Tom Cruise, Justin Bieber , Kim Kardashian , Michael Jackson and many more . And then we also saw Beverly Hills and the place where Hollywood stars purchased . We also saw the famous ‘HOLLYWOOD’ sign up the hill . After a very breezy ride , went back to our hotel . The next day I had to bid USA adieu , we had to fly back to Kuwait . It was a wonderful summer journey that I would never forget and I took back with me memories that I would cherish , forever .
