NAFO KUWAIT is set to celebrate “ONAM 2017” on Friday, 13th October 2017, at the Indian Community School, Khaitan Branch, from 10.00 am onwards...

“RAGAMANJARI” a signature musical concert with rare compositions of Classical song, Onam Folk song, Naadan Pattu and Kavitha Chollal by renowned play back singer “KAVALAM SREEKUMAR”; S/o Padmashree Late Kavalam Narayana Panicker; will be the main attraction of this year’s celebration. He will be accompanied with a team of acclaimed instrumentalists to perform a two hour rendition to fascinate the music lovers of Kuwait.

Variety cultural stage shows by NAFO family members, portraying the nostalgic memories of Onam and cultural heritages of our motherland will also be true highlights of the whole day celebrations. A grand traditional “Onasadya” will be served to all the guests and attendees. All NAFO members and well-wishers along with their families are cordially invited to gather on this auspicious occasion as a single family in order to celebrate our dear traditional "Ponnonam" - the one and only living symbol of our unity, harmony and brotherhood.

Onasadya coupon was officially released on Friday 25th August in a joint meeting of NAFO Executive Committee, Advisory Board and Program Committee by Hon. NAFO Patron Vijay Karayil handing over to Shri. Rajan Menon, former NAFO President. Shri. O.N. Nandakumar-NAFO President presided the meeting, acting General Secretary Shri. Anish Nair rendered welcome address and Onam Program

Convener Shri. Pradeep Kumar TKV and Co-Conveners Shri. Sreekumar Pillai and Shri. Promod Menon, coordinated the release function. The Program committee has informed that NAFO members may kindly collect their Onasadya coupons by contacting any of the program committee members or NAFO Executive Committee members, to facilitate smooth distribution of coupons, and urged the members and families to kindly extend their sincere support and active participation. Shri. Sreekumar Pillai, Vice-President proposed the vote of thanks.

Through the collective hard work by successfully sponsoring and coordinating a series of educational empowerment programs, socio-welfare schemes and mega cultural shows and welfare schemes, NAFO has now proven itself to be one of the leading, prestigious and honored associations in Kuwait.
