STECI Youth Union Conducted Youth and Family Conference

St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India -Kuwait Parish youth union conducted its one day youth and family conference at Kabd on 02nd September from 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM as part of its Calendar year programs . The conference, inaugurated by Rev.Saji Abraham (Vicar STECI Kuwait Parish) was based on the Theme - "GOD’S DESIGN FOR YOUR MARRIAGE” . The program commenced with an opening prayer by the parish Vice President Mr. M.Thomas John and a welcome speech by the Youth Secretary Mr. Abey Eapen. The Keynote speakers were the young and dynamic couple, Mr.Gigi & Mrs.Manju, who encouraged and challenged the couples to invest their time in one another to grow together In His love. Also a special session for the couples on Parenting was conducted by CEF, Maharashtra director, Mr. Jayan Varghese. Apart from the sessions, melodious songs sung by the youth union choir led by Mr. Linu Manikunju and team entertained the attendees.

Alongside the sessions for the couples, a separate fun-filled session, comprising of Music, Stories & classes for the Sunday school children was conducted by the Head Master, Mr. Abraham Mathew and CEF team. The Day concluded with various indoor games and entertaining activities, tailor-made for the couples, conducted by Mr. Saju K. Abraham, who was anchoring the whole event. The event closed with Vote of Thanks by Youth Vice-President, Mr. Sijumon Abraham and Final Prayer by Mr. Mathew John and Benediction by Rev.Saji Abraham. More than a seminar, the whole event turned out as a Family get-together with love-feast from Morning through evening. Apart from the Youth Committee, various sub-committees were assigned with different tasks, to fight with the challenges of the distance, temperature, etc., and made it a comfortable & memorable day for the church members and for the visitors.
