British Council successfully concludes Study UK fair 2017

An event for accredited UK universities by Ministry of higher education, Kuwait.
British Council, the UK’s International organization for educational opportunities and cultural relations held Study UK Fair on 4 July 2017 at Sheraton Hotel in Coral Ballroom.
The fair brought together 22 of the top UK universities, Colleges and English language providers to meet with potential students and visitors to discuss the extensive choice of courses on offer by institutions at every academic level. All the universities that attended the exhibition feature in the Ministry of Higher Education’s list of accredited UK universities for undergraduate and postgraduate study.
Exhibitors provided the latest information on study opportunities in the UK, including a wide range of subject fields and levels of study. Potential students were also awarded conditional offers to some of the courses. The fair was well attended with a large number of visitors. Responses from both visitors and exhibitors were very favourable, and the exhibitors were impressed by the quality of enquiries and level of seriousness shown by students and parents alike.
British Council’s Education Project Manager Imran Yousaf added:
“There are a lot of other advantages to studying in the UK as well. The mesh of ethnic, religious, political and philosophical backgrounds creates a wonderful learning experience. Student life is a diverse and wonderful thing in the UK. But what is it like studying in the UK, one may ask? It is incredible. The world of academia is vast – you have the opportunity to learn from some of the best minds in the world and have access to extravagant resources. To new students coming to the UK, what I would say is know that you are coming into a world that will be different from yours. Come with an open mind, be willing to listen to people, and learn. Studying in the UK will enlighten and refine you”.
The UK has for long been a favoured overseas study destination for Kuwaiti nationals and residents. It is estimated that more than 4,500 Kuwaiti students are currently pursuing their studies in the UK. The UK has a historical tradition of providing tertiary education and is renowned for the highest quality and standards.
