Firefighters douse large fire in Sharq Industrial

The Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) said it has put out a large fire which broke out at several garages in Sharq Industrial yesterday.

The fire, which first engulfed four garages at around 9:00 am, quickly spread to another two businesses, encompassing a 1,500 sq m area, KFSD said in a statement.

Firefighters from six fire stations were dispatched to tackle the blaze. An investigation was opened to determine the causes of the fire.
