There is no challenge to the statement “Quality education is the key stepping stone for success” today. Its acceptance is evident from the amount of time, effort and money invested by children and parents alike in this one aspect of life. The conventional practice is to increase knowledge, the amount of information, retained by children. As the world is changing, so is the definition of education and skills required for success. Is our education systems evolving fast enough to meet these changes?

Our children are facing a very different world from what we did. In the new order of things, it is not enough to hold a vast reserve of knowledge alone. Knowledge must be complemented with a sharp set of skills like Critical Thinking, Strategic Analysis and Evaluation, Planning, Computational Thinking and Team Skills. There needs to be a focused effort early on in creating these skills and techniques as a second nature in children help them propel in to future.

Algebraic Academy is on a mission to deliver these skills through a medium that children understand and accept, “FUN”, “GAMES” and “EXCITEMENT”. Chess and Rubik’s Cube Solving are proven to help increase concentration, memory, planning and strategy among many more skills. New age programs such as Robotics and Coding for Kids also add to the much needed Process Approach, engineering skills, problem solving attitude and team dynamics which are crucial today.

Children from 5-15 years get introduced to Chess, Robotics and Problem Solving sessions at Algebraic’s signature a Summer Camp.
