4th Telangana State Formation Day Celebration on A Grand Scale By Telangana Chaitanya Sravanthi, Kuwait On 2nd June 2017

Telangana Chaitanya Sravanthi, TCS-Kuwait, celebrated the 4th Telangana State Formation Day on 2nd June, 2017 at Global Technology Company (GTC) air conditioned hall with their members and their families amidst great fervor and enthusiasm.

The Telangana State was formed on 2nd June, 2014, after a prolonged great struggle of over five decades, through innumerable sacrifices of hundreds of youth who gave away their lives for the cause and unflinching fighting spirit of the movement’s Great intellectuals like Late Prof. Jayashankarji, Late Chief Engineer, Sri Vidyasagar Raoji and honorable Chief Minister, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Raoji, and the entire population of Telangana from all walks of life. It was only be befitting that this day should not only be celebrated to commemorate those sacrifices but also joyously revel in the celebration of fantastic achievements in these two years that could only be possible through much needed self-governance, astutely executed by our honorable CM of the Telangana state. Within these two years, it has carved a niche for itself among the Indians as the most happening state and as the jewel in the crown of the Union of India, with innovative out of the box progressive thinking and people centered welfare policies.

The Formation Day celebrations began with the anchors Miss Prasanna and Mr.Surendar welcoming the members, which was followed by the Telangana song and the lighting of the Bhadradeepam by the distinguished the President Mr.Srinivas Vaidyula,, Mr & Mrs. Man Mohan Naidu, Mr & Mrs. Shaker, Mr & Mrs. Kondal Reddy Mr. & Mrs. Suresh and the Vice President, Mr. Prem Kumar.

The event commenced with a meditation session conducted by HEARTFULLNESS by SRCM, Kuwait delivered by Dr.Niranjan, Mr. Thirumaran and Mr.Senthil, the volunteers of the organization. This session was followed by a beautiful mellifluous rendition of the prayer invoking the blessings of almighty by Mrs. Bhavani Shaker. She sang with great devotion, veneration and superb voice modulation. The event also included a Physiotherapy awareness session by Dr. Vandana Hamilton who shared her vast experience on the topic. Mr.Prem Kumar, the Vice President presented a safety and cleanliness message.

TCS President, Mr. Srinivas Vaidyula congratulated and greeted all the Telangana fraternity with best wishes on this 4th State Formation day by recalling the efforts of the triumvirate of the Telangana greats like Late Prof. Jayashankarji, Late Chief Engineer, Sri Vidyasagar Raoji and honorable Chief Minister, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Raoji his childhood memories of the Telangana struggle and the endless wait for seeing this day. He urged and reminded everyone that even though the Telangana Statehood has been achieved, it is not the time to rest and only regale. The people have yet to re-establish an irrevocable supreme suzerainty in all spheres of Telangana related affairs like Contracts, Business, Education, Politics, Industry, Media, Cinema, Arts, Sports etc., through fair open competitive means, which continue to be resting with other than the people of Telangana. He further elaborated on the aims and objectives of the organization that is solidly being built on its four core pillars of Strength – Happiness, Awareness, Training, and Cultural celebrations. He reminded all to keep the spirit of Telangana alive and urged all to remember for what the people fought for separate state formation. He elaborated on the arduous journey culminating to its present status of the Association and requested all the members to come more openly to support the Association and be an active member in all its tasks. He expressed his happiness that the day’s events were all performed by the members and their young progeny ably led by Mr.Shaker.

Welcome semi classical dance performance by Miss Niveditha was a treat to watch, as the youngster captivated all the audience with her superb performances. Ladies group consisting of Mrs.Bhavani Shaker, Mrs.Anitha Ramakrishna, Mrs.Susheela Sharma, Mrs.Sujatha, & Miss Prasanna too sang a keerthana of Sri Annamaiya with devotion.

One after the other, all artistes came up with great performances and it was amazing to note that so much ofa talent is innate to this Association. Folk songs on Telangana bt Mr.Sattaiah, Srinivas and Sridhar Goud were outstanding and heart touching. Young kids too presented excellent semi classical and fusion dances on movies songs from hindi and telugu films. Sanvitha, and Avinash performed a lovely dance together. A mix of disco and rock was presented by Master Sudhanv Mittapalli & Sushan Siddarth. Dance on song from a latest telugu movie by Sai Lahari & Ruthvika was impressive and awesome. Above and all it was like a multi talent show by the members and their children which made the even successful. Promo Videos of our esteemed Sponsors like M/s BBG India from Hyderabad, M/s Malabar Gold and M/s JoyAlukas were played for the benefit of members to bring awareness of their products.

All the performances were recognized by giving Appreciation Certificates and all the members congratulated them on their stellar performances. Mr. Kondal Reddy, the Gen. Secretary, proposed the vote of thanks. He thanked his Executive Body, Advisors, and Area Coordinators, and praised the efforts of the performers and the volunteers of this event Narayana, Srisailam, Praveen, Srisailam, R.Sharma, P.Sharma, Laxminarayana,etc. Logistics and Sound systems were looked after by the Joint Secretaries Mr. Ramesh Mandala and Mr.Ramesh Oraganti helped by Mr. Santhosh Reddy, He thanked Mr. Ramadoss and Mr. Narsing Rao of Global Technology Company for making available their hall for this event.

TCS, Kuwait is growing day by day with the full commitment and dedication of all the members and the Executive Body. This is the eighth event attended by a large gathering in this year of its formation, displaying abundance of energy and enthusiasm. The program was well compered by Miss Prasanna and Mr.Surendar. The event beautiful moments were captured through the lenses of the photographer Mr. Katakam Ramesh. The day with sumptuous dinner arranged by m/s Vasanth Bhavan, followed by the Swatcchata tasks. TCS is constantly striving for timely starting of their events and ending them with committed completion of Swatcchata Kuwait tasks.
