Cool ‘Sunshine’ in ICSK Summer Camp 2017

The Indian Community School Kuwait gave a splendid start to the Summer Camp ‘The Sunshine 2017’ in a grand ceremony organized on Sunday, 11th June 2017 at ICSK Senior branch. The objective of the camp is to provide a safe and jovial atmosphere for the ‘bubble wrapped’ young generation to learn and develop their creative, social and sports skills. The camp was officially inaugurated by Dr. Vinod Warrier, Internist, Mubarak Al Kabeer Hospital who was the Chief Guest of this occasion. In his inaugural address the Chief Guest stressed how important it is for kids to be physically active to lead a healthier life and reminded that the outdoor physical activities organized in the camp will surely improve the overall well-being of the little ones. The Chief Guest appreciated this venture of ICSK in providing a brilliant opportunity for the students to have an overall development.

Dr. V Binumon, Principal and Senior Administrator of ICSK, in his felicitation address, emphasized on the substantial role of physical and creative activities in the early days of childhood. Principal stressed on the implications of learning, unlearning & relearning which will help the children to go ahead successfully in their future.

The esteemed presence of Mr. Amer Muhammed, Hon. Secretary to the ICSK Board of Trustees, added gaiety and vivacity to the inaugural ceremony.

Dr. Mary Isaac Vice Principal and Coordinator of the camp cordially welcomed the gathering and Asst. Coordinator Mrs. Sabiha Altaf whole-heartedly thanked the audience.

‘The Sunshine 2017’ offers variety activities and training in Yoga, Karate, Aerobics, Magic, Music, Dance, Art & Craft, Diner’s Choice etc. unplugging them from Technology. Eminent resource persons and skilled trainers will join the expert team of ICSK to engage the students on Personality development, Public speaking, Value education and Health Awareness. Several field trips of educational value and games training classes are also arranged for a duration of one month from 11th June to 13th July 2017. School transportation is available for the campers. The timings are from 8.00 am to 12.00 noon.
