INJAZ is the Arabic word for ‘achievement’, and the eighth graders of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan have achieved the knowledge of many new concepts from these sessions held. INJAZ-Kuwait is a non-profit organization that was established in Kuwait in 2005 with a mission to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.

“We learnt many new concepts and ideas in a very interactive way. It was an memorable experience” - Sricharan (student)

In the first session all the students were given life maps and were given an opportunity to plan their future. It helped the students plan their education, career and lifestyle choices. The students then learnt how to present themselves for an interview, the dos and don’ts of an interview. In the next session they learnt how to protect their money and personal information, how to save money and at the same time spend it only on their necessary needs and for useful reasons. They were taught about consumer rights and responsibilities in the following session. They also learnt about managing credit and debt, different payment methods, and common types of investment. After gaining the knowledge of all these new concepts and terms, all the students were allowed to play an engrossing and educational game. The game helped them understand the concept of investment better.

In the final session, the students made beautiful cards thanking Mr. Ebrahim for spending his precious time with them and a small memento to honor him was also presented. All the students thanked INJAZ for helping them and giving them an invaluable experience.
