India needs 20 lakh doctors at present- Dr. Abdul Qadeer at KMWA program

“There is a big demand for medical doctors in India compared to other professions including engineers. India needs 20 lakh doctors at present and demand is growing” said Dr. Abdul Qadeer an Educationist, and founder of Shaheen Group of Institutions during education awareness program conducted by Karnataka Muslim Welfare Association (KMWA) A subsidiary of IMA Kuwait at Indian Model School Salmiya.

During his educational presentations on his 3 days visit to Kuwait, Dr. Abdul Qadeer addressed hundreds of NRI students and parents from various faiths and regions of India. He advised students, not to choose career by influence of others and not to get influenced by general trend of opting only engineering or medicine as career. He further said instead of materialistic motives education is for becoming a good citizen and a contributing person to the society.

Krishan Kumar Pahel, First Secretary Indian Embassy and Dr. Anees Ahmed Director SIMS salmiya were Chief Guests during the occasion and addressed the gathering highlighting the importance of quality education.

Dr. Abdul Qadeer also addressed a gathering on the subject Educational Challenges of Ummah and Solutions at Metro Medical Care auditorium , Farwaniya where Syed Iftekar (President FIMA), Sagheer Trikaripur (Chief Patron KKMA ) and Firoz (Principal KIG English Madrasa ) were chief guests.

Dr.Abdul Qadeer also spoke on the subject ‘ Opportunities of Professional Courses for Muslim students in Karnataka’ participated by heads of various associations of Karnataka. Abdul Muneer (Chairman, KKMA ) , Habib Koya Marapatta ( Chairman KCF ) and Abdul Jabbar ( President KKMA) were guests of Honors.

President of KMWA Abdul Naser Khan expressed his gratitude for support received from all to conduct these educational programs which is coordinated by Abdul Muqtadir .

KMWA is striving in Kuwait for the educational upliftment and promoting interfaith understanding particularly among expatriates of Karnataka state living in Kuwait.
