Embassy sought suggestions from community to boost Indian exports to Kuwait

Indian Embassy in Kuwait sought suggestions from community members to boost India's exports to Kuwait. India's exports to Kuwait include food items, textiles, garments, electrical & engineering equipment, cars, trucks, buses, tyres, jewellery, handicrafts etc.. However during the last five years, India's total exports to Kuwait have unfortunately remained sluggish, Embassy said in a statement. During the last five years, the total export to Kuwait is at about USD 1.2 billion per year.

Indian community members can inputs / recommendations in exporting products or product groups of India which can be promoted to Kuwait; Direct measures (tax incentives, financial incentive, insurance, etc.) which can be adopted by India to increase its exports to Kuwait; and Tariff and non-tariff barriers faced by Indian export products in Kuwait.
