148 Drug trafficking cases registered last month

The Ministry of Interior announced that the authorities registered a total of 148 drug trafficking cases and arrested 204 suspects during the month of March. According to MoI press statement, the total amount of drugs confiscated in all the cases includes 300 grams of hashish, 704.1 Kilos of Heroin, 619.2 grams of Shabu, 1313 narcotic pills, 593.16 Kilos of Chemical drugs, 2 Kilos of Marijuana.

47 suspects were referred to the Drugs Control General Department during last month and 75 patients admitted to drug abuse unit of the psychiatric hospital.
