Vanitha Vedi Kuwait Representatives Meet Ambassador H.E. Sunil Jain

The central committee members of Vanitha Vedi Kuwait met Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, H.E. Sunil Jain on 17th April 2017 and discussed various issues faced by Indian Expatriates in Kuwait. President Mrs. Shantha R Nair gave a brief on the various activities carried out by the organization in Kuwait as well as in Kerala. Secretary, Mrs. Tolly Thomas and Executive Member Mrs. Sajitha Skaria brought into light the various challenges faced by Indian community such as airfare hikes during school holidays, increase in school fees, problems faced by Indian community in Abbasiya etc. The team also sought the help of the Embassy to initiate efforts to start Baby Care Centres through outsourced agencies and to have a high level discussion on higher studies for Indian children in Kuwait. They expressed their sincere thanks to the Ambassador for the various interventions done for the Indian community in Kuwait. On his part, His Excellency expressed his intention towards extending all needed support from the Indian Embassy to foster enhanced and comprehensive development to the Vanitha Vedi Kuwait.
