Prime Minister Narendra Modi accepts Kuwait’s invitation; Sent thank you letter to Kuwait

Indian Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi accepted the Kuwait's invitation for visiting the country and sends a thank you letter to the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait H H Sheikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah for the invitation.

However the date for Modi's visit to Kuwait is not yet finalized and as per informed sources, the date will be finalized after mutual consultation between the two countries.

Modi, in his reply, said that the relationship between India and Kuwait have historically been close, characterized by extensive people-to-people contacts and mutual respect. He also said that he will be looking forward to work with the Kuwaiti leadership to further deepen the ongoing bilateral political and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Indian PM Naredndra Modi also wished the friendly people of Kuwait in his letter to the Prime Minister of the state of Kuwait.

Earlier Kuwait Prime Minister had officially invited Narendra Modi to visit Kuwait. This will be the first visit by any Indian Prime Minister after 35 years. Modi's visit to Kuwait was a long time demand by the Indian community in Kuwait after he took charge as the Prime Minister of India. According to official figure, there are about 900,000 Indians living in Kuwait.
