Kuwait based woman created Narendra Modi on embroidered cross-stitch

Kuwait based Indian woman Mrs. Archana Subodh Puranik made a unique piece of embroidery on cloth with a dream to present it one day to the man in picture. The hand designed embroidery is a beautiful painting of India's Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi.

Having a passion in embroidery, Mrs. Archana Subodh Puranik designed hand embroidery of Narendra Modi in an 11.2 X 13.6 inches in a matty fabric aida cross stich cloth. The Cross-stitch frame is designed using 50 different shades. "I took around 16 days to complete this work and every day I was sitting 8 to 9 hours to create this master piece", Archana said to IndianinKuwait.com



Hand embroidery being her passion, Archana got inspired by a recent news in which a man was presenting prime minister Narendra Modi a Bike made out of Wood. The thought came to her mind about making the prime minister himself on a piece of cloth after reading this news.

As her life time dream is to present this beautiful work to the Prime Minister Narednra Modi, the recent news of invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Kuwait gives a new hope for Archana.



The art of tracing out designs with hand stitches is what makes hand embroidery so unique and stylish. Mrs. Archana has been doing cross stitches but on different patterns found online. Recently she started embroidery on portraits by learning how to convert any normal picture into a cross stitch patterns.
