Salmiya Indian Model School held Educational Tour to Singapore

Educational tours offer an opportunity for a rich immersion experience and a tremendous way to facilitate learning new things. So to give students a chance to explore and experience new places, culture,and technology Salmiya Indian Model School conducted an educational tour from March 25 to 29,2017 to Singapore one of the most beautiful and disciplined countries in the world.
Accompanied by our director sir Dr. Anis Ahmad and our beloved teacher Asma ma’am and Mr. Ameer Ahmed the tour operator from Travel Club, our group comprising of 19 students hit the airport on 25th March at 1:00 pm to begin our journey on Etihad Airways via Abu Dhabi.
It was a long tiring journey 1 hour 15 mts to Abu Dhabi and then 7 hrs nonstop from Abu Dhabi to Singapore. By the time we landed at Singapore airport it was 10 a.m. and the date also had changed from 25th to 26th. Though we were tired yet we all were excited.
After check in the hotel and having a little rest for about two hrs, the first place visited by us was the Night Safari; we had had a tram ride and commuted around the zoo where there were many animal species like Sambhar deer, Lion, Tiger, Elephants, Rhinoceros, Bear and many more. Then we had dinner in a fine Indian restaurant.
The next day we started our tour at Singapore Flyer that gives a moving experience at every turn then moved to China town, Little India, Suntec city and Fountain of Wealth. After having lunch, we left for the very exciting Sentosa Island tour (The Island of Peace). The island is one of the best island resorts in the world. The tour included cable car ride, Luge, Wings of time was the best water show we have ever seen.
The third day had more adventures and excitement for us as it was a full day visit to Universal Studios Singapore. From exciting rides to different kind of shows and attraction based on blockbuster films and television series , the park had it all .Some of the most famous rides are ultimate 3D battel , shrek 4D. Reveng of the mummy made many of us cry out of fear.
On the last day, we checked out from the hotel and visited Jourong Bird Park for a family- friendly adventure among various bird species. We also explored a beautiful waterfall Aviary and a wonderful bird’s show.
Soon after that we headed towards the airport for returning back to Kuwait.
It was a great trip, and a great time to de-stress after the exams. We learned many things from this trip by discovering Singapore as a beautiful clean, green and a much disciplined country where people have respect for rule of land. We all decided to implement this in our daily lives to generate a clean and green Kuwait.
