Indian Ambassador raised Kharafi workers issues with Minister of Social Affairs & Labour

Indian Ambassador HE Sunil Jain held a meeting with Minister of Social Affairs & Labour HE Hind Subaih Barrak Al-Subaih. The meeting discussed various issues faced by the Indian community in Kuwait.

According to sources, the Indian Ambassador highlighted the plight of large number of Indian workers in Kharafi National who are not receiving their salaries for the past 5 - 6 months.

Last month, Indian embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Sri Shubhashish Goldar visited the workers camp of National Kharafi group at Shuaiba following the protest of Indian workers in front of Indian Embassy for the inhuman living condition at the camp and unpaid salaries of the workers.
