Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Launches ‘4th Sports Camp 2017’

The Indian Educational School and Smart Indian School, Kuwait launched its 4th Sports Camp – a unique, day – in camp and sports activities on 19th March, 2017 at the state of the art school, SIS in Jleeb Al Shyoukh. The summer camp is designed to emulate the excitement and wonders of Bhavans in making the campers into stars!!

In a simple yet grand function Mr. Mahesh Iyer, the Principal of SIS inaugurated the camp and felicitated the function. In his speech, he spoke about utilizing leisure time in the best possible manner. Mr. Murugayan, the Coordinator of the camp welcomed the august gathering composing of the Administrative Manager, Vice Principal, KG Supervisor and faculty of SIS amidst the huge number of vibrant participants.

The camp which is now on at SIS is distinct in compacting everything one wants in an intensive two week-long program. While our children have the luxury of trained coaches who yearn to train and compete with a true sportsman spirit in their hearts, Bhavans can’t hide their pride as the sports camp uniquely offers a vast variety of fun and character-building activities like yoga, aerobics, personality development, swimming, badminton, table tennis, football, basket ball etc. to identify the hidden sports talent among the kids. All activities are carried out by established trainers of that field under the able guidance of Bhavans’ staff. The volunteers who are the star stunners of various national and international games being deployed as well to coach the participants is the first of its kind in any school that are exposed in the media .The enrollment that has outnumbered the previous records distinctly demonstrates that Bhavan’s Sports Camp is known for its professionalism in the field of sports paving the platform for the participants to learn self-reliance and teamwork.

Bhavan’s SIS undoubtedly creates a safe and positive sports environment as it houses prospective and ideal spots for different sports and recreational and adventuresome activities like stay-in camp facilities in addition to its indoor and outdoor play grounds, center for gymnastics, golf driving range and swimming pools etc. Hence, the sports lovers who dare to dream whose cheer is extreme are wearing a smile on their lips, hands on their hips, spirit in their hearts and have well started the camp readily.
