Capricious weather in Kuwait ahead of summer

Volatile weather patterns are expected in Kuwait during this transitional period as winter slowly subsides to herald the arrival of summer season, meteorologist Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi said on Thursday.
Speaking to KUNA, Al-Qarawi said that weather is typically unstable during this time of year, where temperatures gradually begin to rise with winds spewing out dust that could reduce visibility.
Weather on Thursday is mostly sunny with northeasterly winds that will later turn northwesterly at speeds of 15-50 km/h, he noted.
Moreover, weather tonight is expected to be moderate with light northwesterly winds between 10-35 km/h, while temperatures will be within the range of 14-16 degrees.
On Friday, warm weather will prevail with light to moderate northwesterly winds between 10-32 km/h, as temperatures are forecasted to be between 25-27 degrees during the day and 12-15 degrees at night.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, Al-Qarawi noted that light northeasterly winds between 10-32 km/h are expected, while temperatures will range from 26-28 degrees during the day, with nighttime temperatures of 16-19 degrees.
