KKIC Inaugurates 4th Islamic Seminar and Exhibition

The 4th Islamic Seminar organized by Kuwait Kerala Islahi Center (KKIC) was inaugurated under the aegis of the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Mohammed Haif Al Mutairi, in Farwaniya Thursday.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the minister stressed on the importance of the event for the propagation of the oneness of God, which is the central tenet of Islam, and in spreading awareness on the humanitarian aspect of the faith.

Signs Visual Arcade, the 4-day exhibition, which is a part of the seminar, was inaugurated by the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, Sunil Jain. The seminar and exhibition are underway from Feb 23-26 at a special venue, near the Farwaniya Garden.

The exhibition presents a variety of topics spanning man’s life, death, hereafter, history, science and others through 3D models, posters and other mediums. Visually impactful presentations about the fast-spreading immoralities that are corrupting the society, in addition to documentaries on the scientific facts in the Quran and guidance and counselling counters are some of the main draws at the exhibition.

The exhibition boasts different pavilions, each under a specific theme such as “Islam, the Religion of Serenity” and “Afterlife, Fact or Fiction” among others.

Speaking at the inauguration of the exhibition, the Indian Ambassador, Sunil Jain, stated that events of this nature will be useful in dispelling the myths about Islam and presenting the peaceful and humanitarian nature of the faith to the world at large. The ambassador recalled his participation in the 3rd Islamic Seminar held two years ago, and said he is glad to be part of the fourth one as well.

PN Abdul Lateef Madani, President of KKIC, headed the programs. KKIC General Convener, TP Abdul Aziz, delivered the welcome address at the seminar, and the conveners, Zakir Koilandi, Sunash Shukoor, Haroon Abdul Aziz, Dr. Ameer Ahmmad , Khaleel Adoor, Ibrahim Kunnil, O Abdul Khadar,AM Abdu Samad, CP. Saleem , Abdu Rasheed Kuttamboor, Mujahid Balussery, Amin Swalahi, Zubair Firose and Jishad adorned the presidium.
