KECF Conducted the Inter-Church Bible Quiz Competition 2017

Kuwait Episcopal Churches Fellowship (KECF) conducted the Inter-Church Bible Quiz Competition 2017 at NECK Church and Parish Hall on Saturday, 18th February, 2017.

KECF is a unique fellowship of 17 Episcopal Churches in Kuwait which includes the Orthodox, Jacobite, Marthoma, CSI, Evangelical and Knanaya Churches.

12 teams from 12 parishes participated in the Junior and Senior Category. NECK Administrator Mr. K.P. Koshy inaugurated the Bible Quiz and KECF Vice-President Rev. Fr. Aby Paul presided over the meeting. Rev. Fr. Shaji P Joshua and his team coordinated the Bible Quiz.

In the Junior Category, St. Basil Indian Orthodox Church, St. Peter’s Knanaya Church, Kuwait City Marthoma Church won the 1st, 2nd and the 3rd places. In the Senior Category, St. Peter’s CSI Church, St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church Ahmadi, St. John’s Marthoma Church won the 1st, 2nd and the 3rd places.

Mr. Shibu Alex and Mrs. Babitha P Laiju were the Quiz masters for the Senior and the Junior team respectively. KECF President Rev. Saji Abraham lead the opening prayer and KECF secretary Benny Varghese welcomed the gathering.
