Shito-Ryu School of Karate (SSK) organized Grand Annual Kumite(Fighting) Championship

Shito-Ryu School of Karate (SSK) Kuwait, had organized a Grand Annual Kumite(Fighting) Championship on Friday 27th Jan 2017 at Kuwait Karate Federation. More than two hundred participants contested and thousands of audience witnessed this championship with some exciting finals. As expected numerous entries were eager to attend this Annual Kumite Championship where discovered new champions. Sensei Prem Kumar, was the Chief Supervisor for the entire event, who is also well known Karate Master in Kuwait and India. Further, he has been recently awarded as the official Senior Referee & Judge by WKF, which is considered a challenging post and not easy to win it without practice and tons of patience. Sensei Prem is the man with Vision & Mission of Karate !

Some of the major highlights of the function was the presence of Kuwait Karate Federation Referees, Upgrading of Senior masters , Felicitations to recently passed New Black Belts to join the Senior Black Belts by the Chief Guest, the General Manager of Inchcape Shipping Services-Kuwait, Mr. James Walsh (British origin, who had been in Martial arts and Boxing, also a keen sportsman, a footballer who played semi-professionals for 3 years) was present alongwith great Indian personality in Kuwait, Mr.Sunoj Nambiar, he is the founder and Director of IndiansinKuwait.com, popularly known as IIK is the popular online news portal among the Indian Community in Kuwait. Mr Sunoj Nambiar started the web site IIK in the year 2000 and today, with continuous improvement and dedication has become the number one portal in Kuwait today. His web portal provides great opportunities for people to contribute and share their views and opinions to the public. Apart from connecting the Indian community in Kuwait through his community portal, IIK also conducts various offline activities for the Indian community here in Kuwait. We thank Mr. James Walsh & Mr.Sunoj Nambiar for their presence and honouring the event.

Senpai Nitin Kumar, was the official host of the event for the smooth flow of championship while Senpai Ajith Kumar assisting as Match Area Incharge. Senpai Benesh and Senpai Cijo took care of arena and participants. Senpai Vinod, Senpai Sivasuthan, Senpai Sudarshan, Senpai Milan with Senpai Nithya Prem, Senpai Saran Prem, Mrs.Prem, Senpai James, Mr.Prajesh Aniyan, Mr.Reji Verghese, Mrs. Sina Antony, Senpai Arn Mr.Suncy and Mr.Rajesh supported the whole event with excellent teamwork, thus ensured one and all to make it a grand successful event of 2017 on first quarter.
