GIS crowned National Champions

Gulf Indian School quizzers brought home another prestigious award by bagging the National Championship in the Asianet Think and Learn Challenge 2016-2017. The mega event was held in Dubai on 9th & 10th February 2017. 6 top scoring Indian Schools from Kuwait battled for the National Championship. The team comprising of Aromal K. Harilal of Class X and Nevin Salu Chirayath of Class VIII was selected through a series of keenly contested written quizzes across the country. The team was awarded a cash prize of USD 1000 for their exemplary performance and selected for the final GCC level competition in which champions from six GCC countries participated.

This award comes as a recognition for the highest standard of scientific and mathematical creativity and problem solving skills of our students. Congratulations students, you have made the GIS family proud!
