Mutawa AlKazi launches the GS4

Enhancing its strong relationship with its customers and overall commitment to providing top of the line cars, Mutawa AlKazi recently launched GAC Motor’s flagship SUV, the GS4, a masterpiece of international standards that boasts superior quality ahead of similar models in its class with unmatchable specifications at attractive prices.

The launch took place at the Marina Crescent amongst a large audience of car enthusiasts, and coincided with fun filled festivities that marked Kuwait’s National celebrations at the Marina Mall and the anniversary of the Proclamation of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as the Amir of the State of Kuwait.

During the event, well known International Musician Caitlin De Ville, performed an artistic aerial show that entertained the audience. Renowned presenter Osama Fouda, kept the audience engaged through the exciting competitions which resulted in a wide range of fabulous prizes being given to the participating winners.

National celebrations

To kick off the event, Omar Sulaiman Alkazi, CEO of Mutawa AlKazi Company, congratulated H.H. Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the Crown Prince, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad, political leaders, and the wider Kuwaiti community on the celebration of the country’s National and Liberation Days, praying to Allah, Be Exalted, to keep Kuwait, its leader, the government and its people, safe. Alkazi announced the launch of the GS4 from GAC Motor, China’s automotive manufacturing giant. The GS4 aims to go beyond the average SUV buyer’s expectations with its innovative performance and
design, international safety standards, with the
strictest quality specifications.

According to China’s Initial Quality Study by JD Power, GAC Motor had remained the Number 1 Chinese brand for 3 consecutive years. During the event, Alkazi expressed his pride in the success and achievements of Mutawa Alkazi’s partnership with GAC Motor, and the successful launch of this promising brand in the Kuwaiti market a few years ago.

The GAC management is always seeking to innovate and as a result Kuwait can look forward to additional new and exciting model launches scheduled for later in the year.

High efficiency

On his part, the General Manager of Car Sales in Mutawa AlKazi Company, Ahmad Abulhuda, stated that the GS4 represented a new era for SUVs following its first global appearance at the North American
International Auto Show (NAIAS) in 2015.

The front wheel drive GS4 is equipped with a 1.5
liter, 16 valves, turbocharged-4 cylinder engine
thereby limiting fuel consumption to just 6.3L /100kms i.e. among the lowest in its class. The
GS4 also features an innovative 7-speed G-DCT
transmission to guarantee extremely quick shifting by 0.2 seconds. It is also switchable to Eco,Sport, and Manual modes for maximum driving pleasure.

Being successfully linked up in partnership with the biggest car components manufacturers in the world, GAC Motor’s priority was, and continues to be, ensuring quality is delivered to every one of its drivers. Each vehicle’s electronic stability and motor management system is sourced from Bosch in Germany, along with the braking system which is also from Germany (Continental).

The frontal and rear bumpers are sourced from Visteon in America, and the air-conditioning system from Denso in Japan.

In addition, many of the safety features, including
the air bags, rear brakes, hydraulic energy systems, are produced by TRW in the United States of America.

Five star safety rating

Safety is not taken lightly by GAC, Abulhuda stressed. The GS4 adopts a GAC Five-Star Safety
Body Design containing ultra-strength front and rear anti-collision steel beams. Additional safety features include front, side, and curtain airbags protection, ISOFIX seats for children safety, advanced ABS +EBD system from Bosch, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), high-performance chassis, ventilated disc brakes, parking sensors, rear view camera and anti-theft system among many others.

Sporty exterior

Abulhuda referred to the enjoyment of driving the GS4, which will not find any obstacles that it cannot overcome. He added that the GS4 is a solid, tough-looking compact SUV that enjoys modern, integrated sportive and aggressive lines which suggest dynamic performance.

The fierce front grille, adaptive high intensity discharge lamps (Xenon) with LED daytime running lights, LED optical combination taillights, front and rear fog lights, 17” or 18” sporty alloy wheels all together offer elegance in motion.

Interior wise

The GS4 offers a modern driving cabin with a spacious area, comfortable to the family, which provides a feeling of complete calmness thanks to its 360-degree Mute Design System (ASD) which reduces the overall road noise levels by 26%. The center console is equipped with a large 8 inch 3D sound screen to offer a journey full of excitement.

Other features include the four-spoke multifunction
steering wheel with cruise control, volume adjustment, phone dial/hang-up functions among other functions, welcoming leatherette seats, striking dashboard, dualzone air conditioning, and large trunk space which offer 1,410 liters of storage space when the rear seats are folded down to 180 degrees.

Additional features also include power sunroof,
rain sensor wipers, power seats, etc.
