Kuwait Malayali Samajam (KMS) Conducted Annual Day Celebration

Kuwait Malayali Samajam (KMS) conducted its Annual Day celebrations on Saturday the 4th February 2017 at Poppins Auditorium, Abbassiya.

KMS President Mr. Varghese Paul chaired the public meeting. Grand Hypper Market Regional Director Mr. Ayyoob Kachery inaugurated the function by lighting traditional lamp. In his speech, he appreciated Kuwait Malayali Samajam for its involvement in charity activities across the society. A detailed working report submitted by KMS General Secretary Mr. Hareesh Tripoonithura. NORKA Director Board member Mr. Varghese Puthukulangara, KMS Patron Mr. Rajeev Naduvilemuri offered felicitation speech. KMS Treasurer Mr. Binoy Chandran welcomed the assembled dignitaries and guests. Event Convener Mr. Maxi Joseph expressed vote of thanks.

KMS honored Mr. Babuji Batheri, a popular drama Director in Kuwait and Mr. Mr. Bipin Kalachavan for their extra ordinary contributions for the society.

A workshop on the subject “Niyama Bodhavalkaranam” led by the famous advocate Mr. Rajesh Sagar was also conducted in this annual meet.

In the event, KMS distributed financial aid for the treatment of one of the KMS member who was repatriated to India due to sickness. KMS also offered a cash amount from its charity account for the surgery of Master Pranav who is suffering from brain tumor.

Mr. Mathew Chennittala, Mr. Eapan George, Mr. Jiju Paul, Mr. Sabu Mavelikara, Mr. Sanjai Kukar and Mr. Gopinathan coordinated the entire event.
