The Indian Community School Kuwait, Junior Super Kid 2017

Wednesday, February 8, 2017

Super Kid is an attempt to identify exceptionally intelligent, innovatively clever and talented students at a young age. Talent search and reward is the theme of our Super Kid competition venture.

We conduct competitions for LKG and UKG students to identify the winners from each section. The competitions are held during the school hours with prior notification to parents. There are five competitions planned, different for the LKG and UKG students based on their age. The child has to participate in all the five competitions to be eligible for the Super Kid Trophy and participation certificate.

The toppers from each section i.e., both LKG and UKG are crowned as “Super Kid 2017.” Gold and Silver medals are awarded to the first and second runner up respectively of each section.

ICSK Junior conducted the Super Kid Award Ceremony on 25th January, 2017. Mrs. Yolande Lansing, Commissioner of Trade, Embassy of Canada honored the function as the chief guest.

The function commenced in sequence with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran, National Anthem of Kuwait and thought for the day, which was followed by lighting of the Ceremonial Lamp, an integral part of all ICSK functions.

The programme was made colourful with dances and oratory sill by pre-primary students.

The SUPER KID programme is intended to be the source of encouragement for all children.
