Training Seminar –“OHS Risk Analysis and Management ”

Adding on to its illustrious pathways of educating and empowering its members, American Society of Safety Engineers, (ASSE) Kuwait Chapter conducted a training seminar on "OHS RISK ANALYSIS AND MANAGEMENT” on 3rd February at Best Western Hotel, Mahboula . The trainer for the session was Mr. Santhosh Kumar Shenoy. 18 members attended the event and got benefited from this program.

ASSE- Kuwait Chapter lead by Chairman Mr.Fadhel-Al Ali, is a non- profit organization which always strives to excel in providing quality trainings and consultation in the field of Health Safety and Environment all across different public and private sectors in Kuwait.

Mr. Sony Thomas, Head of Training Committee welcomed all participants and congratulated them for their interest to learn and updating their knowledge. Mr. C Rama Krushna Chary, President of ASSE Kuwait chapter briefed about the significance of the training seminar and the importance of conducting such seminars for the benefit of ASSE members. Mr. Sony Thomas briefed the chapter training activities and introduced the trainer. Mr. Santhosh Kumar Shenoy.

Mr. Santhosh Kumar; a Mechanical Engineer; has over 20 years of industrial experience in HSEQ Management System in various spectrum of industries in Middle East and India. Possessing the Lead Auditor & Lead Tutor certification in QMS, EMS and OHSMS; Santhosh has provided consultancy to more than 100 professional organizations in Gulf Countries to establish the Integrated Management System. Santhosh has the credit of training employees from over 100 organizations

The training seminar was meticulously carried on by the trainer and effectively communicated citing relevant industrial scenarios and case studies. He elaborated the Risk management framework, Risk Identification and type of Risk Analysis, Quantitative Risk Analysis, type of Risk Management Methodologies with a brief Introduction to ISO 31000 standards on Risk Management with the aid of power point presentation and audio & visual demonstrations.

The program turned out to be very advantageous to all the members particularly to the safety Officers and Engineers from Oil and Petrochemical industries. The session concluded with the distribution of Participation Certificates to the participants.
