Kayamkulam NRIs celebrated X-mas & New Year

Kayamkulam NRIs Kuwait celebrated X-Mas and New Year on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Popins s Hall, Abbassiya.

The Indian Embassy Second Secretary Hon’ble A.K. Srivastava inaugurated the celebration, by the traditional lamp lighting. In hi is inaugural address, Srivastava appreciated the efforts of Kayamkulam NRIs in helping the society and wished all success for its continued socio-welfare initiatives. President B.S. Pillai chaired the meeting. Upcoming film star Praveen from Kerala, Senior Advisers Sirajudeen, Safeer P. Harris, Seniors EC Member Biju Parayil, Treasurer K.C. Krishna kumar felicitated the occasion.,

Prominent personalities, sponsors, well-wishers, representatives of fellow associations, Media Wing, were participated in the celebration. Secretary S.S. Sunil welcomed the audience, while G. Gopalakrishnan, Program Convener, proposed vote of thanks. Sradha Binu excellently compeered the meeting.

Thereafter, the floor was left for the cultural programs. The high lights were a Choir by “Salmiya Friends” and a magic and musical show by” Vismaya Band. About 35 meticulously dressed groups of children, youngsters both male and female, along with the X-Mas Father on stage, mesmerized the audience, with their flawless choir songs.

And the musical show was another treat for the attendees, as its talented singers beautifully sang several songs covering all areas of music. Another attraction of the day was the magic show by which was really entertained the audience with applause.

Before the end of the program Film Star Praveen and Anchor Sradha Binu were honored with mementos.

Registered with the Indian Embassy, Kayamkulam NRIs has been in the gulf for the last 12 years, by voluntarily rendering socio-welfare services.
