“Nothing in nature is exhausted in its first use. When a thing has served to its utmost, it is wholly new for an ulterior service. Every end is then converted into new means.”

Little hands and little minds from grades 1 and 2 at Smart Indian School came together in a creative burst at the “Best out of waste competition” which was held on 10th January, 2017.

An amazing array of useful everyday objects were made from old newspapers, paper cups, plastic spoons, used bottles, old CD, cotton, rice, straw etc..

Creativity was at its best when used plastic bottles transformed into piggy banks, pencil pouches and flower vases.

Equally mesmerizing were the wooden fork ballerinas, snow glob made with used jam bottle and the weighing scale done with plastic cups and hanger. To see the students turn waste into wealth was mind –blowing.

It was indeed a visual treat that brought out the true meaning of Reuse and Recycle.
