A Double Rainbow Feast Adorns Bhavans, Kuwait in ‘Mazavillu 2016’

As the bright rays of sublime creative light passed through the droplets of vibrant colours, the young talented artists of Indian Educational School swayed their magic brush to create one of the most beautiful RAINBOWS one could ever see in a life time. They drove home with the much envied overall championship title at the 'Mazhavillu 2016' art competition organized by the Kala Art Kuwait on November 11, 2016.

The prize distribution ceremony was held on November 26, 2016, and IES was declared Overall Champions for the second year in succession. Catherine Vismaya Biju of grade 12 won the first prize in the senior category thus shelving the gold coins for two consecutive years. The second and third positions were bagged by Nandakrishnan Mukundan of grade 9 and Apoorva Ramachandran of grade 11 respectively. To add the finishing touch, Merin Anna Jaise stood third in the sub junior category. Besides the coveted prizes, the 18 consolation prizes in different categories by the finest artists of Indian Educational School bedazzled everyone with the ever smiling double rainbow. Principal Mr. T. Premkumar congratulated the amazing artists of Bhavans, who ushered in reasons to celebrate yet again and extolled the efforts of the vibrant Art Department of IES. This victory once again stands testimony to the brightness and brilliance of Bhavanites which makes them rightfully the students of the school with a difference.
