Dec 8 holiday for Prophet birthday

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) yesterday said Dec 8 (Thursday) would be a public holiday marking the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), citing a relevant Cabinet decree.

Civil servants at all state bodies and agencies will resume work on Dec 11 (Sunday), it said in a press statement.
