Children’s day is celebrated in India on November 14, 2016 on the birth anniversary of our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He was a sincere and dedicated prime minister of our nation India. Since Nehru loved children he was fondly known as Chacha. Kids also loved him a lot and were dressed up in his trademark outfit.

Children’s day is necessary in order to aware people about their talented kids and their importance in our lives. Children’s day provides a big opportunity for everyone especially the neglecting people in the world. It forces them to think about the future of their children and makes them aware about their duties and responsibilities towards their creative kids.

This special day is celebrated with many activities physically, morally and mentally. People take a pledge of not neglecting their children and helping and motivating them for their each step taken in their life. In my school our wonderful teachers performed many programs like skit, the mesmerizing dance by our teachers and so on. It was a successful program held in our school and it gave us immense pleasure that the teachers performed for us as we did on their day the “Teacher’s Day”. On our television also many programs take place to honor the children as the future of the nation. The Children’s Day celebration brings fun and frolic activities. It also gives a chance for those who never went on stage and motivates people to take part in certain activities.

Children are considered as the building blocks of our nation. They are small but have the capability of changing the nation positively. Chacha Nehru always cheered for the children doing deeds of bravery and sacrifice for out motherland or mother earth.

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru has always taken children in a positive way and has encouraged them to support the mother nation. He was very fond of children and had a very strong affection towards them. When celebrations are taken place and when it is over sweets and luxurious delicacies are distributed.

Children are immensely valuable for the nation and only hope for tomorrow so Chacha Nehru has decided to keep children’s day on his very special birthday and he has done the right thing because he loved children more than his life and the children also loved him a lot.

In the Indian context chacha means “one’s father and symbolizes a trait of affection, love and concern. Despite his hectic life he always kept his heart towards children and gave them immense love and affection. It is said that Chacha Nehru only had love for his children and his nation.

Therefore I conclude by saying that children have the capability of building the nation and making it look the beautiful place on the whole earth. “Wherever there are children there is a successful nation and Earth.”
