THE LION AND THE MOUSE
Once in a jungle, there lived a lion in his cave. One day, a mouse went inside the lion’s cave. Unknowingly, the mouse started to dance on top of the lion’s body. The lion, who was in deep sleep, suddenly woke up and caught the mouse. The mouse became afraid. He said to the lion, “Oh Lion! You are the king of the jungle. I am just a small mouse. Please release me. I will be of help to you one day." Hearing these words, the lion lets go of the mouse. The mouse returns to his house. The lion starts to wonder, “How will such a tiny mouse help me one day?” He then goes back to sleep.

One day, two hunters come into the forest. They set a trap outside the lion’s den. After setting up their trap, they leave towards their tents. The lion got caught in the trap and started to scream loudly. Hearing the lion’s scream, the mouse went towards the trapped lion. He said, “Don’t worry, my lord. I will release you with my teeth.” After saying this, the mouse freed the lion. The lion said, “Oh Great Mouse! Please forgive me. I feel blessed.” After this, the lion and the mouse became best friends forever.
