Salmiya Indian Model School is gearing up!! Workshop Conducted for Staff

A four days’ workshop was conducted for the staff of Salmiya Indian Model School by the newly appointed vice principal of the school Mrs. Anita Sadanand from 3rd Oct till 6th Oct.



The workshop covered various topics such as “Effective lesson plan for an inclusive classroom” on the first day, “Academic planning for better learning, teaching, and assessment” on the second day. “Integrated projects: a multidisciplinary approach” on the third day “Rubrics an integral part of CCE” on the fourth day of the workshop.



Earlier, in the first week of September, the staff had attended yet another workshop on the topic Role of student portfolio and anecdotal record in CCE conducted by vice principal Mrs. Anita Sadanand. The aim of all these workshops was to ensure that the staff will comply with each and every requirement of theCCE system in its true spirit to improve the academic standards in the school.

The new leadership team of SIMS comprising of Principal Mrs. Elizabeth Joseph and Vice Principal Mrs. Anita Sadanand, both with their rich experience of more than two decades, are striving hard along with the young, energetic staff to meet the expectations of the stakeholders of the school with multiple nationalities.



Salmiya Indian Model School is marching ahead briskly towards its goal of becoming one of the best schools in Kuwait under the guidance of the Director Dr. Anis Ahmad who always believes in social justice through education. Wishing SIMS all the best.
